Ok I left this a while back and I’m not even sure why. I managed to port over some code to the ESP32 via Arduino… Tbh I might try and learn esp32 from the actual framework. I do not like the way I see Arduino heading to be honest. Some videos of it in action….

FT800 Rev 19 now in! With AUDIO!

Forgot to order the parts so PCB is here before i can make em… Should have parts from digikey in 2-3 days max. Update 4/10/2014 : parts just came in. Preview 🙂

FT800 Revision 16 PCB WORKS!!!

Ok after some LCD boost (for backlight) changes this might be the FINAL release of my FT800 board. Less parts and better routing. No heat generated by boost and stable power for 1.2v internal regulator. Will post schematics soon!

Ok added a image but still with too many mods to find it good.. Looks good but code wise its not… Here what i got so far.. (testing on XMOS)

Ok now that I can use internal functions, I have no clue how to send a image to the screen 😦 For instance how in the world do I set a region and place RAW pixel data?

Ok did a couple more test. Learned the hard way about the swap.. Basically on the FT800 you have to swap out the new screen for the old one. So if you plan to update just a portion… you might have to rewrite the entire screen. Well this is what it seems like right now….
